The moment has arrived.

Creative Expressions new release, finally released

Ladies & Gentlemen, the moment you have been pining for has finally arrived.

The brand new Creative Expressions release, has been finally released, and we've just received our allocation.

Our magical, dedicated, skilled and now slightly weary dispatch team are busy getting all your ordered picked, packed and posted out.

All the orders should all be sent out today, and be with you shortly, and then you can all get busy with your creative hands and minds creating even more astounding works of beauty, flair and imagination.

Spellbinders pre-release has now been released

Great news, the Spellbinders pre-release's have now been unleashed upon the great and the good (that's you lot) we received our delivery in 3 batches, and straight away got to work on packing all the orders we could. The last lot arrived this morning, and our dispatch team we're all over the remaining orders like bee's making honey. It truly was a sight to behold, I ought to have taken some pictures, but they'd have been an absolute blur.

Just a little post today I'm afraid. Though I do have some rather nice examples of some of our customers handywork to show you all when I get some more sent to me.

Craft in another form

This weekend I got quite crafty, not with cards, but with eggs, flour & sugar and made cupcakes. I like cooking, baking and taking pictures.
I know this has nothing to do with card craft, dies, stamping etc, however it's still creative and tasty at the same time.

So here's a few pics of said handy work.

I do particularly love this picture, I was especially lucky with this one, the light at the back, the I just put the lemons down, no placement. Lucky shot.

Zest lemons, get lemon in eye, rub furiously.
Flour and all other ingredients mixed etc.

Spoon into muffin cases.

Pop in the oven for about 30 mins.

Knock up some butter cream with lemon juic, spring a bit of lemon zest on top.

Et voila, salut Mon amis.

Crafters your shop need you!

CRAFTERS THIS IS A CALL TO YOUR CRAFTING ARMS!!!

A small favour chums, we had a visitor in our office today, and they were thrilled to see an example of you lot can make with your crafty hands.

This got me thinking, why not make a gallery of cards that our Customers have made?

If possible could you take a picture of any card you've made, and either post it on here, or e-mail it to me at contact[at]iconuk.co.uk and I'll make a gallery of all your handiwork with your name attached of course for all to see.

I even made a poster in Photoshop just for the occasion too.

If you've not sure how best to do it, leave me a message on here, or drop me an e-mail and I'll go through it with you.

Now what would be even better would be a card with some kind of Victorian style and appeal to it, fits in with Lord Kitchener (chap above in the poster), though not essential :)

Bank holidays...

Here in the UK we have 6 Bank Holidays a year, a day where most of the country enjoys a day off work. Though not every one is lucky enough.

There are lots of people who have to work, Nurses and hospital staff, Police, Firemen, and other public service staff.

What about some of the others, people who work in call centres? retail staff? public transport workers, there's a whole host of people we need to applaud for their hard work 7 days a week, without whom we'd not be able to get things done on our days off (this year I'm lucky enough not to be working on Bank Holidays, but I've been there on Bank Holidays working, so i do genuinely appreciate every single person who has to work them.

So to anyone who's had to work over Easter and the Bank Holiday, thank you, we'd be lost without you. This also include our Boss shaped Man too, who works tirelessly over the weekend, as he does everyday and every weekend, keeping up with trends, requests and countless other things you do without anyone noticing, well we do notice , so Serf thank you too, we really do all appreciate your dedication and hard work, were it not for you, where would be? And from me personally, we need an office meeting, up by the whale bones on a day like today.

I've taken about an hour to write this, sat at home, kids running in and out, enjoying their day, me catching up with e-mails and web contacts, my Wife at work, and my mind naturally wondered onto thinking out our dies that say "Thank you", and thinking I should make my better half a little thank you card. I appreciate this may seem like a long winded highly tenuous ramble to point out our range of dies which say thank you, I assure you it isn't.
